Notes: Add First Wort Hops after Vorlauf and before sparging
Step 1 - Bring your wort to a rolling boil.
Step 2 Boil for 50 minutes. Add Wyeast Nutrient Blend (optional) and boil for 10 minutes.
Step 3 Remove from heat and add Whirlpool/Steep Hops 1 (1 oz Citra, 1oz Galaxy) to the kettle stirring occasionally for 10
minutes, making sure to stay above 170 degrees. You can put your kettle back on the burner if necessary
to maintain above 170 degrees and below boiling temps.
Step 4 Add the Whirlpool/Steep Hops 2 (1.5 oz Citra, 1.5 oz Galaxy) to the kettle stirring occasionally for 10 minutes making sure to keep temperature above 170 degrees. You may use your burner if necessary to maintain temp above 170
degrees and below boiling temps.
Step 5 - Add the Whirlpool/Steep Hops 3 (1.5 oz Citra, 1.5 oz Galaxy) to the kettle stirring occasionally for 20 minutes making sure to keep temperature above 170 degrees. You may use your burner if necessary to maintain temp above 170
degrees and below boiling temps.
Proceed to chilling your wort
Dry Hopping
Add Dry Hop 1 (1oz Citra, 1oz Galaxy) once primary fermentation is complete. Dry Hop for 4 days. Add Dry Hop 2 (1.5 oz Citra, 1.5 oz Galaxy) for another 3 days. |
