NOTE: Total boil time for this recipe is 15 minutes and includes whirlpooling hops before chilling.
BOIL:
Add lactose 10 mins remaining in boil.
SECONDARY FERMENTATION:
Slice vanilla beans length-wise and scrape out seeds.
Toast coconut on a cookie sheet at 300F until golden brown, stirring often.
Add both ingredients to fermenter for secondary fermentation for 1-2 weeks. |
