Notes: This was my first batch of beer made. My brewing kit came with a American Ale kit. A few mistakes were made. Grains were steeped for 42 mins WITH the liquid malt in. We also changed the hop schedule from the recipe. This sat in the primary for a week then went into bottles for 2. The end results were very good despite the mistakes made and minimal conditioning time. It was a hit at a birthday party. The beer has a sweet medium body taste up front and finishes a bit bitter and hoppy. This recipe could be made better with proper brewing technique and longer conditioning.
