Sweet complexity is what you get with Victory Malt. Great for abbey styles, porters, and dark ales, basically beers with depth, it taste of toasted marshmallows, moderate coffee, and dark dried fruit like prunes. Complimented with a dry woody characteristic it will impart deep copper hues in small quantities with out right dark copper coloring and toffee like aroma in larger quantities.

CTZ, an acronym for a blend of the holy trinity of high alpha bittering varieties: Columbus, Tomahawk® and Zeus. This American high alpha acid variety has a pungent aroma of citrus, wood and spice. It leaves a clean bitter flavor and is an excellent choice for bitter ales and American IPA's. CTZ hops are an ideal dual-purpose hop due to it's assertive, clean bitterness and it's pleasingly intense aroma.

German Northern Brewer Hops Pellets are an English bred offspring of Brewer's Gold with some ancestry from American Wild Hops. In Germany it's known primarily as a bittering hop but it is dual purpose aiding in hop aroma as well.

Wyeast Scottish Ale 1728 is the perfect yeast for heavier Scottish Ales. A clean and neutral fermenter, this yeast produces an increased ester profile when fermented at higher temperatures. In small quantities esters produce light fruit flavors akin to bananas pears and roses but when used in large qualities it produces a solvent type quality to the finished product.
