Carahell Malt is a drum-roasted caramel malt made from German two-row that provides a fuller body. Carahell also adds a full, round flavor and deep saturated color. Carahell will increase the richness and intensify the malt aromas in German style beers. It's also a very versatile malt and can be used in pale ales, Oktoberfests, Maibocks, and Hefeweizens, but it's most commonly found in Pilsners, Wheats, and any lighter style of beer.

Bramling Cross has a very distinctive 'American' aroma. It is often used as a general-purpose kettle hop for a small proportion of the hop grist.
