Corn sugar or priming sugar is used to carbonate your beer. Be sure to dissolve in water before bottling to get the best results. A 5 oz portion is ideal for most 5 gallon batches, but it has other purposes as well. You can also use it to boost your ABV without affecting flavor much by adding it to your boil before fermentation.

Smooth and sweet, Goldings are recognized as having the most typical English profile. This hop is in demand for copper-hopping and dry hopping of traditional ales. Use Golding hops in combination with Fuggles for a time-honored taste. Kent Goldins are also useful for late hopping lagers, when a delicate aroma is required.

Owing it's origins to a land race variety, the Noble Czech Saaz Hop has been a part of brewing tradition since it was first cultivated in the Czech Republic. Full of the classic flavors found in noble hops, is has a soft, refined spice and herbal flavor. Use this in Bohemian Pilsners, Belgian Ales, Farm House Ales, and Lambics. This is the hop that provides Pilsner Urquell it's unique flavor.

The classic choice for brewing golden strong ales. This alcohol tolerant strain will produce a complex ester profile balanced nicely with subtle phenolics. Malt flavors and aromas will remain even with a well attenuated dry, tart finish. It may continue to produce CO² for an extended period after packaging or collection.
