Owing it's origins to a land race variety, the Noble Czech Saaz Hop has been a part of brewing tradition since it was first cultivated in the Czech Republic. Full of the classic flavors found in noble hops, is has a soft, refined spice and herbal flavor. Use this in Bohemian Pilsners, Belgian Ales, Farm House Ales, and Lambics. This is the hop that provides Pilsner Urquell it's unique flavor.

Fermentis Saflager S-189 originated from the Hurlimann brewery in Switzerland. This highly flocculant lager strain is fairly neutral in flavor and works well for a wide range of lager and pilsen beers. Fermentation temperature ranges between 9-22°C (48.2-71.6°F) but ideally between 12-15°C (53.6-59°F).
