US Cluster Hops are one of the oldest American hop varieties. Formerly accounting for the bulk of the hops grown in the US, it has given way to other hops as we expand our beer needs but it is still a must have hop for anyone looking to recreate traditional American Lager styles.
Cultivated from the Dutch and British settlers from indigenous hops, this is a strong and very underrated hop. Being duel purpose it serves to both bitter and provide hop aroma to your brew.

CTZ, an acronym for a blend of the holy trinity of high alpha bittering varieties: Columbus, Tomahawk® and Zeus. This American high alpha acid variety has a pungent aroma of citrus, wood and spice. It leaves a clean bitter flavor and is an excellent choice for bitter ales and American IPA's. CTZ hops are an ideal dual-purpose hop due to it's assertive, clean bitterness and it's pleasingly intense aroma.

Whirlfloc® T kettle coagulant and fining agent is a purified, high molecular weight carrageenan powder extracted from Irish Moss algae, put in a convenient tablet form. It reacts with colloidal, haze promoting material in the wort to accelerate the formation of dense and compact trub during the hot and cold wort breaks. Whirlfloc binds with the trub and is removed with that material by settling or filtration before the beer is finished. It does not remain in the beer. This saves time, boosts wort recovery, and results in a brighter wort. Improved wort clarity with Whirlfloc T leads to cleaner fermentation and easier filtration afterward.
