Weyermann Carared is a unique caramel malt from Germany. It is equivalent to a caramel or crystal malt with a 20L rating. In addition to residual sweetness, Carared imparts a red hue to beers, and is used to great effect in red ales, Scottish ales, bock beers, brown ales, alts and amber beers. It improves body and malt aroma. A wonderful malt often called for in a variety of recipes!

Bred in 1970 from Early Green, Brewer’s Gold, and Canterbury Golding Hops, US Nugget Hops are one of the most widely cultivated varieties in the Oregon hopyards. A duel purpose hop lending bitterness and aroma to your beer this hop is great in any beer where bitterness is a primary component. American styles especially bring out it's mild and sweet low key qualities and it's herbal/fruit profiles providing a fresh oregano, ginger, rosemary, and lemon candy flavors to your finished brew.
Flavor Profiles
CTZ, an acronym for a blend of the holy trinity of high alpha bittering varieties: Columbus, Tomahawk® and Zeus. This American high alpha acid variety has a pungent aroma of citrus, wood and spice. It leaves a clean bitter flavor and is an excellent choice for bitter ales and American IPA's. CTZ hops are an ideal dual-purpose hop due to it's assertive, clean bitterness and it's pleasingly intense aroma.

Created at Yakima Chief Ranches, this hop provides both bittering and hop aromas and improves the flavoring of other hops while producing a mellow pine and citrus flavor. This hop is great in American Ales and IPAs.

Chondrus crispus, otherwise known as Irish Moss, is a carrageen seaweed used to clear beer and combat chill haze without the use of a filter. It promotes protein coagulation speed and is added to your boil 15 minutes before completion. Be sure to hydrate for at least 15 minutes before use.

With this mineral you are able to increase the hardness of the water you are adding to. Gypsum will also lower the mash PH making this very useful for brewers that use distilled water.
We recomend 1 teaspoon per 5 gal.
