Notes
This started as a basic Irish Stout kit from Midwest Supplies (Beer. Simply Beer.). The idea was to add some chocolate rye for a hint of spicy while imparting more color and roasty flavors. Addition of 1 lb of amber dme to boost abv a tad. All in all I wanted a strong flavored stout with some subtle pumpkin flavor that tasted a little like a big beer without actually being one.

My own gravity read was around 1.056. However this is a brand new hydrometer and also the first time I've taken gravity measurements (I'm really new to this) so I'm curious to see what my FG is.
